Bring: food, sleeping bag or sheets & blanket, favorite pillow case, clothes, flashlight/headlamp, small towel.

Provided: Beds, propane stove, cooking & eating utensils, pillows, woodstove, water filter, toilet paper, paper towels, matches, table and chairs. Outdoor fire pit. Clean outhouse with a view. No electrical outlets.

The yurt sleeps 6 with plenty of adjacent area for those wishing to sleep under the stars!

Wolf Creek Backcountry offers unique wilderness lodging in our Pass Creek Yurt. Nestled at the foot of the Continental Divide, the Pass Creek Yurt provides miles of hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoeing trails out the front door. Everything is provided for your comfy wilderness stay (a misnomer, you say? Not so!) including Crock hut shoes! Solar Lights illuminate evening games, laughs, reading, and storytelling. Private, the peace, serenity, and beauty is unmatched. Beautiful wildflower-strewn one mile HIKE/BIKE from your vehicle ensures solitude.

  • SUMMER: July 1 – Labor Day. $177/night. Two night minimum
  • WINTER: Thanksgiving to first Sunday in April. $277/night. Two night minimum

Liability Waiver


To complete your booking each individual must submit an electronic waiver form. Parents or guardians will need to list their children or minors ages 0-17 on the liability waiver they sign. You will not be charged anything to fill this waiver out.

Winter (only) Parking Passes


Winter parking for the Pass Creek Yurt at the Wolf Creek Ski Area is designated to allow for safe and efficient snow removal practices by Ski Area personnel. Please park only in the area designated for Pass Creek Yurt guests. If you are unable to locate the designated parking area, please call Wolf Creek Backcountry, LLC at 970-731-2486 or Wolf Creek Ski Area at 970-264-5639.
